Default Article: How I (Eventually) Got Started Multiboxing

Of course, my husband (ISBoxer's Lax) just started dualboxing my cleric and his bard together in the end. He wrote programs to control my game from his computer, he'd even make my character say crazy things when I was trying to play it myself!
You heard it right folks, the first "victim" of Broadcasting Mode was my wife well over 10 years ago.

This was a great read! Are any of your kids playing? Or are they too young yet?

Our daughter is still a little too young, she's just barely starting to dabble with Nintendo Wii games. Mario Kart Wii is great for her!
But, our two sons have played WoW with me several times. They don't multibox it though. They prefer to group together and do quests with me. They have tried out multiboxing with (at least) my WoW group and Lax's Diablo 3 group before ,but never for very long. I think playing one character at a time is more than enough for them to handle right now.
The boys prefer to play Minecraft, Terraria, Starbound.... might be a slight pattern there.
Team Fortress is a big favorite too, but they tend to play lots of Death Runs and custom maps/modes that are typically more like obstacle courses versus actually playing the game shooting people.
They also do Roblox and Binding of Isaac a lot. I could probably write an entire blog post just on all the games my kids are already into. I definitely blame Lax
