I don't think it matters how good your gear is at 100, as it scales down to a specific iLevel for the dungeon.

ilvl 164. There is some great gear(best in slot) for some that is purchasable with gold in Dalaran from the old justice/valor vendors. More gem slots the better

Even better is next time the level cap increases, you still wont need to replace it. That gear will be Best in Slot Forever!!!

We can just rush to level cap and put on our Timewalk set to receive current ilevel gear quickly.
