    Default Thinking of New Build

I found this interesting as i have been considering building a new computer.
So I7 Intel with hyperthreading is best.
I have an Nvidia 970 in my current machine, is this good enough to run 5 clients on a 1080p monitor?
Currently have a 1000 watt Gold Power supply, is that sufficient?
How much memory to run 5 clients?
Does an SSD vs Hard drive enhance performance?
Any motherboard features I should make sure to get?

    Any other hardware advice?

    Yes. I ran 5 at 1080p on a 460GTX, so a 970 will be plenty.

    Yes, plenty.

I was running 12GB a while back and in DX11 rendering mode, 1920x1080 x5, my system would occasionally whine at me about being close to out-of-memory. Shutting off Firefox/Netflix was sufficient to clear that but it's a consideration. 16GB+ should be fine.

Only during some zoning (like porting back to capital cities, etc.) and loading up the game and booting. After being in an area for several seconds and the framerate stabilizes, the SSD isn't a factor. Possible exceptions are high-population servers in capital cities where there are a lot of player armor/effect textures loading as you move around.

I'm still running an old non-SLI Intel reference DP67DE board and I have no complaints. The only thing I notice that's important is having enough on-board case fan connectors. As an example, I have two CPU cooler fans, a rear exhaust fan and two front-panel intake fans and barely have enough connectors for all of that. Positioning of those connectors can be an issue unless you extend the wiring harness on some of them, especially in larger cases.

Don't skimp on the PSU or fans; you'll notice that quickly. Get a good quality quiet PSU from someone like Thermaltake or SeaSonic, and stay far, far away from Antec, Cooler Master or Rosewill. That latter is just from my experience and bunches of reviews I've perused. My personal failure rate at home and work is about 25% for Antec, 15% for Cooler Master, 40% for Rosewill (rebranded cheap junk) and 0% for Thermaltake and Seasonic. Granted, my sample size for Thermaltake and Seasonic is 5 and 4 respectively as I've not used those two at work. I can't speak to the support teams for Thermaltake/Seasonic as I've never had to call them; Antec gave me the run-around, Cooler Master typically told me to pound sand, Rosewill said "Ni hao?" and I hung up. Literary license aside, this is my impression of those companies. Cooler Master makes some decent inexpensive cases (which have worked nicely).
