It is a good idea to get all the same versions.

I purchased all the collectors editions for my main, and then bought the cheapest version for 4 followers. Be darned if my main doesn't run 10% faster than the others and causes follow to break. I cant find any information in the product description as to different speeds for different versions, it should be just patron/non-patron, but the difference is there.
