Howdy Dood and welcome to the forums!

if your interest is combat movement... then you will experience the same problem no matter what solution you use (hardware or software). it boils down to the facing direction of each character and your COMPLETE inability to set them all to face the same EXACT direction.

here's the problem. imagine your toons as boats on a pond. extend a line from the middle of each bottom, thru the bow, to about 30 yards in front of each. this is your heading vector. using a global 'compass' where due north (straight up) would be true zero... then measuring the angle from true zero to your heading vector would give you your heading... some number of degrees from true zero.

in wow, the heading is probably accurate to hundredths of a degree. so your 2 toons, joe and sam, after you face them as best you can in the same direction.. would have headings of 42.03 and 42.75 degrees. seems pretty close... until you start moving forward... and their paths start to diverge. it doesn't take long before they move from a step apart to a few yards. add a few lefts and rights in there, while moving forward, and they are significantly distant from each other. add the effect of in-game actions that will turn the toon, ie: arcane missile, fear, etc, and their heading is way off course.

in the end, you MUST use /follow to keep them together.

as you can see, using keyclone, AHK, or hardware would make no difference.

as for AHK... well... if you like to noodle with 6 pages of scripts looking for bugs, have fun. considering some users can't find the stickies to start with, learning the details of an AHK script seems to be a fairly unlikely. (and yes,... on top of that would be the automation capability, which i specifically avoid in keyclone, making AHK a potential target of the ban hammer)

personally, i use some movement keys in close situations for spin,
strafe or step forward/back... but i'm right back on /follow in no time.

keep in mind, i am open to suggestions... so, if there is something you'd like to see in keyclone that is possible, drop me a note and i'll see what i can do.

no worries, dood.. you didn't do anything wrong... people are just concerned about anyone discussing anything that could be against the TOS.

if the post is determined as such, it'll get snipped.

    Hehe:
Howdy [Enter Name Here] and welcome to the forums!

... message about movement issues ...

:P I read this from another post I searched for. First, mr keyclone, GREAT SOFTWARE. Second, I can make /follow work. It will just take some getting used to, as does targeting, etc.

I really like the keyclone software. I'd like to get it on another machine to support more accounts, just have to approve another license fee with the CFO (my wife).
Thanks for all your support! I will keep plugging away with keyclone and exploring the completelylegitimateandblizzardfriendly macro's and addons!
