Default Selecting self with out loosing target

    Hello,
I am really trying to keep my nub questions to a minimum but at work and was just thinking how to overcome my next problem.

Using Keclone 2 toons 1 box.

I have a lock and drood combo, lock my main and drood as healer alt. Got drood to target me follow mount heal via life bloom rejuv and what not all with key binds and macros. so for my 2nd week not doing to bad at getting head round this boxing lark.

    Sorry for the preamble btw.

    Question:
I want drood to keep Lock as target but what is the best way to have the drood select himself to heal with out loosing the lock as target. for instant heals etc or an innovate.

    yours

Beyond is right however I would strongly recommend you move to focus for leader

    this way
    Code:
    /cast [target=focus,nodead, help][target=player, mod:shift][] Regrowth
would be used to cast regrowth on your focus (the lock) unless he is dead (or your focus is an enemy somehow) if you press shift while casting that spell it will cast on the drood and if you have no focus and shift is not held down it will behave as if no conditions were specified and cast on your target if it can heal it or the druid if it can't

    Just to check Djarid.

I target lock as norm then use that source code and that will be my focus or do I have to set focus first to lock.

(i am a real nub I am sorry) but learning daily to reduce the nubness ;(

he he no probs. you don't use target anything on the druid (well maybe mobs)

you need to set the focus on your druid to the lock first using the command
    Code:
    /focus [target={lock's name}]
and assign it to a macro

or you could just go the name route
    e.g.
    Code:
    /cast [target=player]mod:shift][target=lock,nodead] Regrowth
    this will work as follows
    * cast regrowth on the druid if shift is held down
    * cast regrowth on the lock
