Yeah, that one I fear the most. It's a pain in the ass controlling even one character!

That's exactly what I'm doing right now too. I want to gear him up and get through all the dungeons and then move on to getting my team up and gearing up when I don't care about the content anymore

For the encounters that have these prioritized NPCs that pop up randomly you can make a WoW macro to handle them. At least from memory this should still work.

    /target [exists, nodead] Corruptor Tentacle
    /target [exists, nodead] Crusher Tentacle
    /target [exists, nodead] Constrictor Tentacle

To override the current target and find a priority target. I made that one for Yogg-Saron a while back to deal with the tentacles. I could see it being useful in Spires for the NPCs when they pop out. Part of the problem with these fights is managing targets manually. I don't see a point to that when you don't have to. Even playing solo I don't if I can macro the names onto a WoW macro.

For the ring of death - I handled this back when we had to fight echo of Sylvannas. I had a hotkey to put the melee on hold ( so they wouldn't run into the fog ) and had all my range focus my target to blow it up. It also triggered cooldowns on the ranged DPS.

Always think in terms of conditionals across the whole team. The fewer things you have to focus on the more time you have to focus on movement and healing.
