    Default healing/tanking without dropping target?

So I'm starting to dualbox a warrior/priest for instances and I'm slowly getting the micromanagement down. I've currently got macros to heal a manual target/the current mob's target/my tank in that order, but I keep hitting a snag whenever I have to select a manual healing target because I have to drop the mob I'm currently tanking which stops my attacks. Is there any way to feed targets to my priest without breaking my tanking, or do I just have to suck it up and hope no one pulls aggro?

there are two ways to set up healing macros, well basic ones anyway

    1. /target (toon name) /cast Flash Heal

This will target your tank obviously and then cast a heal

    2. /cast Flash Heal /target (toon name)

This will not target your tank but will cast the spell on him

Is that what you were asking?

there are also a number of tips within the forum about ....Targettarget...where the mob is targeting the other toon and you could heal thru that way.

Did you find any answers from the 'stickies' in our forum?

This one will not work if you're already targeting a friendly.

Try /cast [target=TargetName] Flash Heal instead.

I'm guessing that you have the warrior as your main and the healer as a secondary screen?

You have a couple options you can use the F1-F5 keys and macro them to target that member in the party slot, because by default the F1-5 keys are bound to those party slots and will target a party member in order shown on your party screen. So you could bind flash heal to ctrl+F1, dispel to alt + F1 with renew ect, ect.

Or just use the F1-5 keys to manually target then heal the Party member.

The other option with i dont think will work if your setup up like I think you are is the Mouse over heal macro. There are a few posts about it may someone can enlighten you a bit. Im not to familiar with it.
