Thread: Mages

    Default Mages

I have 2 mages and they are both ele with pyro.. I have the greater earth elemental pet.. and I dipped into Chloromancer for the heal.. my question is would I be better off with a Necro/lock build.. or maybe a full ele with rest in Chloro?

I need to stay ranged and have a tank pet of some sort..

My aim is to do Chronicles and very old raid content later on.

    Thanks for reading

P.S so awesome boxing Rift.. I don't miss wow's phasing one bit!

Changed to ele and necro, as both buff pets and do a lot more damage and pets have x2 50% hp buff

If you put points into both ele and necro, can you have both pets out at the same time? 4 total?

No sadly, but the pet buffs from the Necro stack with the Ele ones.. it's much better. Also Epidemic in the Necro tree affects Crystalline Missiles, so it's even better as that's my main spam after dots.

Why only two? f2p, 5 boxes for the price of one! (if you have cpu problems remember you can use the low res renderer)

To be honest I considered 5, but I'm happy with the two, the only difference would be I could do dungeons.. and I plan on grinding reps and achievements and some old raids, so can do it later.. I played wow for 7 years and after returning to Rift I'm not short on things to do. I already blew off credits on both accounts, think my other half would kill me doing that x5 ;p
