    Default Question about mapping keys

Since so many friendly and wise people are around here, I´d love to leave some questions about whats possible with isboxer.
I watched 2 guides and tried to read the expert manual but i got more confused than enlightened. Not a native speaker, that´s probably the issue...

Is it possible to configurate a key that way it sends to all instances of the game while broadcasting is off? I´d love to run and cast with broadcasting turned off, because i think picking up loot would be a lot faster.

Can I somehow setup a key that is rightklick and shift at once? (would that be allowed?)

Can I setup a key, that starts with client 1 and when i press it again it goes to client 2 and so on? (for round robin on skills) It would be amazing if the key had an internal cooldown so it restarded sending the command to client 1 after xxx seconds...

Yes. You can use the Mapped Key Wizard to set up custom Hotkeys, which are active while Broadcasting Mode is off.

If Broadcasting Mode is off, you won't be able to run or aim very well in Diablo 3

Yes. Set up a "Key Re-Map" using the Mapped Key Wizard, give it a Hotkey for you to press, and tell it to press Shift+Mouse2. This is allowed.

Yes. There is a Round-robin option in the Mapped Key Wizard. To auto reset after ___ seconds, then AFTER using the Mapped Key Wizard you can open up your Mapped Key's Advanced options and configure "Reset to Step 1 after ____ seconds"

    Thanks a lot.

edit: Why won´t i be able to run and aim well with broadcasting off? When I configure mapped keys to all the skills? Or does it slow down the game somehow?

There is no follow feature in D3.
If you have broadcast off, or if you're using any of the control only this one character while this key is held, the other characters will not respond.

To box D3, you basically have broadcasting on.
You click somewhere, and they all receive the click and move there.
The movement is not exactly the same on any screen, but it is close.
Over distance the relative position will get more and more off.
But you can fix that by having everyone run into a corner, where the character that is slightly ahead cannot move until the others catch up or where the toon who is slightly behind has the opportunity to catch up while the others cannot move.
You can also hold a hot key, and while it is held only control a single character... which lets you re-group if one character has run off (maybe was knocked back or feared away).

Without a follow command, you need broadcasting enabled to move more than one character.

If the game had a follow command, you'd want to use the mapped keys (enabled) and broadcasting (disabled), like most MMO type games out there.
Or if you were to one-box the game, but wanted to use mapped keys (in which case broadcasting on or off wouldn't make much difference) you could.
For example, your right click could be configured to send several keys to the game, either all at once (several Do Mapped Key actions) likely with do not advance timers set for some, so they fire off every 'x' seconds or so, or in steps where it fires off sequentially 1, 2, 3, 1, 4.

You need mouse broadcasting to aim abilities or to "click to move." Even 'force move' if bound to a key and broadcasted by key-map, doesn't work unless mouse broadcasting is on. [Well it works, but the characters go off in a random direction; e.g. you can't direct them.]

That said, it's completely viable to resolve all planned button presses and mouse clicks (including shift clicking) via key-maps. This is useful if you for instance use a no-generator build on a character or have an ability on left click that you don't really want to spam.
