    Default Viability of ranged classes

I'm new to boxing and need to decide what team to start with. I'll probably be leveling mostly in BGs unless it proves too difficult.

Anyway, I've noticed that many people here say that ranged dpses are not good for multiboxing in PVP. Why is that? Is it because of facing issues? Are ranged dpses still viable in BGs and arena?

I have 4 accounts at the moment so it'll cost me 16k gold and well over 20k JP to buy full set of heirlooms for all characters so I'd hate to choose something that isn't viable in PvP.

So which do you think is better for a newbie: 4x ranged dps or 4x melee(warrior)? I have already have plate heirloom sets but I've been 'flipping' them back to the vendor so I can still change them to something else if I want to.

I am sorry to tell you that follow isnt in battlegrunds anymore. You won't be multiboxing to do bg's anymore. Now ashran, the new pvp-zone in WoD Is an outdoor place. I hope that will have follow.

So considdering you want to pvp, you'll have to do arena, and those are dedicated teams. I dont think there are any ranged classes currently that can apply enougth pressure to the enemy team. Melee on the other hand, especially death knights would add that.

If its pvp you want, thereby arena, roll 4x dk

Regarding you're question about 4x warriors, now I play 4 warriors for fun. But in a pvp scenario you'll end up making the enemyplayer immune to stuns on the very first charge you do x4... so not really that pvp viable. And youll have too much cc on ur team, that eventually you find yourself stopping up or running back to lost characters. Even thought IWT has a very long range.

Dont spread lies. Many people still do bgs without follow. Granted its usually melee but many people still do it.

OT: Casters are becoming turrets again in WoD, go melee.

Also, its so easy to gear fully in arena(2v2) and can be done in a day depending on your catch up cap. No reason to run bgs unless you like them.

Ranged classes including hunters have a hard time performing well in pvp due to the absurd amount of aoe cc in the game interrupting your hardcasts and elemental shamans suffer from the dispel mechanic as all of your flame shocks are gone with one dispel without any penalty.

With follow gone from battlegrounds you might want to do pve, world pvp and pretty much everything else than arena, then you can play almost everything for fun purpose and perform well when played properly. Add 1500+ arena to the equation and you have one class/spec left, guess which

    Fat Tire:

Why do you always have to take up words and make people look bad, come on, noone in hes right mind choose to get into multiboxing "today" for the purpose of playing battlegrounds, without follow.

As far as I wrote, if you re-read what I actually said... I don't see any lies in that.

On 2nd hand it seems to be somewhat clarified by who? oh the best arena multiboxer in the world

Now lets stop talking this way to each other, no wonder people don't care to post on the forum anymore.

    kkthxbye.

since you'll pick dragon roar anyway it shouldn't be that big of a deal, aside from that charge roots the target in wod and warbringer replaces the root with a stun, until then charge -> piercing howl
