Spamming guild chat

Hello

it was fun to start with but now I really need to find a fix as it is starting to send me a bit loopy talking about myself in the plural all the time in guild chat.

eg, call goes up needing help in Kara

using keyclone and as soon as i start typing if chat window open it repeats for both toons if not the all manor of things open and cant do this spell or that. is there an option for a toggle on and off when you want to stop pasing keyboard? because we are getting told off for spamming um i mean me

On keyclone simply hit the Pause key on your keyboard, or rebind the Pause function in the settings to something to toggle passing on/off

I like KSBoxer's solution to it though...the Cairne Zerg has ranks set up so that the Main/Lead char can guildchat, and all the alts are Disallowed Guild Chat rights; set all chars to /guildchat and talk on your main without ever having to worry about pausing/unpausing midcombat lol

there is a pause key which can be set / configured in keyclone.

while pause mode activated none of the keys you press will be broadcasted.

just check out your KC Config.

Since I also RP with all my toons, I have 5 buttons that open chat individually for all toons I have.

Just change the keybinds on all your toons. Be creative. xP

If your guild leader is OK with it, get them to mute all your characters except for your main. That's if you keep forgetting to turn off your repeater when chatting.

This is what we do in the mag zerg. Simplifies things a lot.

i use AHK, but im pretty sure you can do the same with keyclone...
instead of makiing the PAUSE key stop all broadcasting.... set it to the ENTER key(or whatever key you usually use to open that frame)
this can get annoying sometimes (i start saying something and i decide not to say it so i hit excape and it doesn't un-pause) but so far it's worked wonderfully

Or have him create a new rank without guild chat privs, just for clones.
