Hi, I was just wondering if you could give me any general levelling tips? Ive started 2xlock and 1x priest and I didnt know if it was best to level up by farming, or going for quests?

One thing I can tell you for sure, ignore as many of the random drop quests as you can. They are very time consuming as only one person can loot the item, therefore you multiply the quest completion time by as many characters as you have. Other quests like kill quests get completed for all characters that have it, and are much more efficient.

If you are just looking to level quick, ignore professions except enchanting (don't ignore enchanting at all!). Maybe skinning if you need the cash, as you will kill lots of skinnable mobs all along the way.

As far as your group make-up, once again if you are just trying to level quick, I'd say go demo on both of your locks and shadow on your priest. Eventually your priest will be healing while damaging, then the pets for the warlock can help soak up damage and do damage of their own of course. A pretty sweet team I'd say.

Particularly with your setup (3boxing) and the recent changes to XP gained from questing, you should DEFINITELY quest as much as you possibly can. Collection quests shouldn't be too hard for a tri-boxer either, but you can pick and choose depending on the drop rate.

I had a great time with locks just running and dotting things on my way to different quest objectives. Stay off the road and just make a macro that sends in your voidy while you dot things up. Just run straight past them and let the dots tick away. It gives you that little bit of extra XP.

Don't forget to keep your soulstones up on your priest.

A shadowpriest and warlocks synergize quite well.

Personally I think it's worth it to do all the gathering professions. It's easy enough to level them with what you just happen to walk by, and that's quite a bit of gold you're just leaving on the ground if you don't. I went with herb/mining on the main, and skinning on a clone since you can /assist the main and then /cast skinning to skin without ever switching over.

Crafting professions on the other hand are generally not worth it, except for enchanting, which is a must on one of your toons. I chose to level Jewelcrafting as well simply because it's the only profession I've never done.
