    Default Level 90 Character Boost - $60

    http://www.mmo-champion.com/content/3773

That means you'll be spending ~$300 for a 5-man team of level 90 characters at the moment. Might be cheaper to just re-RaF.

EDIT: Servers are up, but the boost isn't present in the store. Did someone troll MMO-C with a fake screenshot of the store? >_>

wow! costly. i keep saying to a lot in guild i could not see it not being as cheap as players was hoping it be $10 the plan was to stop players buying the game again and then moving chars. (with the free ones)
Though raf costs $15 to move chars and costs off the game. x5 (and you only get a 80.)

Goes down to what skills you get on the 90's riding 310%? etc.

from what i been told it was up but got removed very fast as its not ready to be live yet.

i don't like their pricing, at the end of the expansion when it goes on sale for $10 like mists did this expansion you could manage to get a champ for $40 by transferring it

    $20 Battle Chest
    $10 MoP
    $40 WoD Expansion
    $25 Transfer
    --------
    $95 Total Cost

Even when they eventually add MoP to the Battle Chest it's still going to be $85 total; and if you're waiting for a brand new expansion to go on sale, you might as well just start leveling those new teams now, because even if MoP gets absorbed into the Battle Chest sooner than later and WoD goes on sale for a low price of $10, it's still only going to save you $5 as opposed to just purchasing it from the store.

I'll assume this how Blizzard came to the decision of $60 per level 90 boost.

The battle chest got down to $5 on the last sale so it could possibly get down that low, whether or not blizz watches their pricing of WoD due to the free character included is another option... they might not let it drop down very low.

    You're right, so it'd be...

    $5 Battle Chest
    $10 WoD
    $25 Transfer
    -------------
$40 Total Cost (assuming MoP is part of the BC by then)

But still, you can't expect WoD is going to be anywhere near $10 until the winter holidays at the earliest. You might get a cheap Battle Chest, but you're likely to only see a 50% cut on the price of WoD during those holidays. I'm pretty sure we didn't see $10 MoP sales until the second pass of the winter holidays; but even after all of this calculating, we're still assuming that MoP will have been added to the Battle Chest by that time or we can probably add another $5 onto the total price if you're catching it on sale.

It's a bunch of guessing and estimating and hoping that prices would come down, but even if you could catch everything on a super sale, it's still going to be $200 for a full 5-man team @ $40 a character -- And you'll possibly be waiting for trial restrictions to be lifted, as well as, transfers to go through and complete; all while hoping your credit card company/bank doesn't flag you for numerous repeated transactions for the same thing.

I guess it's a nice option to have if you just really hate leveling a team of characters with a passion, but for $200 - $300 a team, I think I'll suck it up.

At this point there is no class that I dont have at 90 already. Bring on WoD already.
