Default Looking to progress to a 10 box.. some questions

    Hey all,

looking to progress to a 10 box, currently 5 boxing and have a couple of questions.

    1) Do you create a 2nd battlenet account for the 2nd 5 box, am assuming you can only have 8 accounts on one battle net?

    2) How do you handle the healers? was thinking about setting to up macro healing and 3rd healer click healing

    3) Currently use isboxer, if i need to offtank stuff do i need to setup a focus macro for the offtank so that the slaves keep dps'ing the main tanks target

    many thanks in advance

ps normally play horde on darkspear eu if anybody wants to hook up

I went with two b.net's each with five toons.
You can go however you like on that... 2 & 8 or 3 & 7 or whatever.
    I went with 5 & 5.

It would depend on the healing classes you pick.
Druids, with their HOTs really shine with several druids healing the same target.
So you might want them to all automatically heal the same target.

You could set up something like alternating heals.
Basically a round-robin for the healer group.
So click goes to A, then click goes to B, then click goes to C, before reverting to A.

I've had multiple Druid heals and multiple Paladin heals.
For the Druids, everyone healed everyone.
For the Paladins, I had focus heals the same as the Arena heal set of macros from the DK Manifesto.
Basically, Alt Click set focus for toon A, next Alt Click set focus for toon B, etc.. with Ctrl Click unsetting focus in order.
And otherwise, non-focused toons everyone healing whatever grid target I hit.
As I recall, it was using an Action Target Group as the target, with the various clicks adding/removing toons from that group and adding/removing from another group, each group with the same trigger hotkey but a different output based on that same input depending on how you wanted their heals to work.

For DPS, you can do the equivalent of Combat/FTL-DPS, where the slaves auto assist.
You could remove either the Slaves or the secondary/off Tank from that, or maybe both; so that assist only changes when you press an Assist Me key.

I could see either, the off-tank is the main assist automatically...
Since the main tank can last longer and the off-tank needs to burn things.
So they're the main assist that has everyone except the main tank assist.

But you might just want to remove auto assisting (or have a group as the target of that, and a key to add/remove everyone from the group... so you can effectively toggle auto assist on any attack on/off).
Then manually assist when you want the DPS/Slaves to switch to new targets.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

Thanks Ualaa, now have the 2nd 5 accounts and am currently leveling up 4 druids and a priest.

Think I will have to look in to ATG's again and refresh myself on sorting them.

but am remembering the joys of RAF leveling and keep thinking to myself dont waste the 90 days like i did last time!

    thanks again

Invisaheals has a great video guide on how to set up raid quality healing. It includes druid healers like Ualaa recommended. Check out the guide here on youtube. Here is another video showcasing it but excluding the writeup.
Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, and the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big ol' storm right square in the eye and he says, "Give me your best shot, pal. I can take it"
