Banned my 4shaman.

Has anyone recently been banned for no apparent reason? I do a lot of timeless world pvp as well I do arena. Last week I just capped doing 2s with my shaman. Quite easy I might add, got to 1400 rating really quick, it's actually quite strong.


Other than that I don't do bgs don't do lfr or raids. Definently don't bot which is backed by me constantly struggling to pay for gear repairs (not much gold on timeless isle, yet lots of deaths).


So I am unsure where this ban came from. I imagine reports of some sort, but banning without investigating? It's easy to see I'm not doing anything wrong.

Sent an email response to ask what the problem was. I played last yesterday and all that was just for celestials.

There was just a recent banwave of people who use auto-rotation software (which is obviously against the rules).

You could have easily been caught up in it by a GM visually assuming you were using some sort of cheat or rotation assist, but if you continue to petition the ban they'll eventually investigate it deeper and see that you weren't doing anything wrong (assuming you weren't).

When you did 2v2 did you have all 4 guys logged in? i.e. were 2 of them in the arena and 2 in stormwind spamming attacks or something.

today in 5's when i was capping i got a random blue blizzard gm support box come up asking if was multiboxing (no hi or anything) all he/she said was

I was/am still so confused. i did take a screenshot but its not in the wow dir :S but the games i took did are not there as well.

but 3 friends got banned today just got cut off halfway talking to me. They IMed me a few mins after saying they got banned.

Am takeing it easy for a few days staying out off bg's/arena leveling some monks up. i just don't want to be put get mixed up with them.

Lost my 10 accounts 72 hour suspension as well, I'm curious if something is giving them a false positive, I've tried to find information about what this banwave was for but to no-avail.

it to do with some software that automated players dps it seems. there is a lot off posts about not sure how did not see anything every sites out there has a lot off stuff on.

Am sorry to hear about your ban. and hope you get your ten accounts back. what to do ingame? how you got your dps setup, software you use to box?

I understand that there was a program that was used, but what did it do that caused people to be banned I don't know. I believe that it is a false positive, and if it is there would be something similar to what I did compared to those that got legitimately banned. I want to make sure that whatever got me flagged this time, does not get me flagged in the future, as I only was suspended, I don't want a permanent ban. I join LFR on my 10 paladins/hunters/priests all week long and people generally get angry with me. I have been reported a LOT for multiboxing. I'm hoping that blizz isn't fed up with the reports. I use a few addons that give me more macro space as well as more combinations for keybinds. In the past 2 months I've used keyclone and pwnboxer, but have been using pwnboxer the most recently. I really just want to find out what caused the false positive or worse, the positive.

At first i was thinking it was Due to the combination of keypress down IWT key press up (whatever assigned button) which is generally a very long macro (utilizing macrotoolkit) so i can really just push one button and get halfway decent dps. Though i do constantly forget to refresh totems and not ideal use of elemental blast.

Will wait for a response tomorrow.

My "main" account has been suspended a few times in the past. all under 24hr all for saying something i shouldn't in trade or back when i was into raiding and our raid instance servers would go down, we would create a 25 man raid of lvl 1 gnomes, run to a city and spam /2 they don't much like that.

after reading this I checked battle.net and found my account locked. While trying to login I got an auto-message saying there is something suspicious going on with my account and I need to change my password.

After changing my password I was able to login again. Not sure if there was someone trying to steal my account but with all the problems the multiboxers have atm I guess it must have something to do with the banwave.

Im 5-boxing (5 wow accounts in 1 bnet) using ISboxer.

Im at work atm so I cant realy log into the game itself... will see more when Im back home.

Been boxing today just fine. the recent bans seems to be related to a bot some fool posted a warning on the EU forums warning other users not to login. So maybe you just got caught up in that.
