Someone once told me of a rather nifty KVM product that did the following, perhaps someone has heard of it.
The product reported allowed you to seemlessly move from one machine to another without any activation sequence. What would happen is, say you had 2 machines, each with their own monitor and this KVM product connecting your keyboard and mouse to both of them. Say PC 1 was on the right, and PC 2 was on the left. Now, if you were on PC 1, you would move your mouse from right to left, magicly "skip" over to the 2nd pc and the KVM would instantly switch over to the 2nd machine, as if you had a bizzare multi-monitor set up between 2 machines. So you scrolled the mouse left to right and back again, and where ever your 'mouse' was, determined what machine the keyboard was pointing too as well. Apparently it was cross-platform too, I'm not sure how that aspect of it worked.
It sounds almost mythical. But the individual swore it existed, or perhaps was in prototype phase. Anyone know of such a thing?
