Default Looking for some upgrade advice

As the title says, I'm looking for some advice on what to upgrade. I'm currently 5 (sometimes 6) boxing WoW. All boxes are visible across two monitors.

    My current system:
    • CPU: i5-3570K (not clocked)
    • MB: Gigabyte Z77MX
    • Ram: G.Skill 8GB DDR3 (2x4 sticks)
    • Video: GeForce GTX 460 (not clocked)
    • Storage: 70gb SSD - 1 TB HD
(If I left anything out just let me know )

I'm not sure why I haven't over clocked either my CPU or GPU, just irrational fear of screwing stuff up I guess.
I have a budget around $250 (before tax) but I could do a bit more if you guys think it'd be that big of an upgrade.
As of now I'm just thinking of a GTX 760, as I would really like to upgrade to 3+ monitors since as far as I know the 460 can't go above 2.
Thoughts? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

The only thing you can upgrade to with $250 is a GTX 760 because GPUs are expensive these days, so that's pretty much your only option. A new CPU is going to require a new motherboard, and all other GPUs are priced at like $380 and up -- Or even a 3770K is $330. If I had to guess though, I would say that the GTX 460 is probably the weakest link, which will then be followed by your CPU w/o hyper-threading once it's replaced.

Also, don't overclock your CPU with the stock Intel cooler because it's only going to heat up very, very quickly.

Thanks MiRai, that's what I figured with my budget and current build, just wanted a second opinion.

I'm looking at some 760s atm and comparing the EVGA ones.
    There's one for $260 with 2GB VRAM ( Newegg Link )
And another for $300 with 4GB VRAM ( Newegg Link )

So I'm curious if the extra 2Gigs are worth the extra 50ish bucks

That's a tough call. I think if you had to make this decision with a GTX 770 and had a CPU with hyper-threading, then 4GB would probably be necessary, but if you don't run your settings too high then it shouldn't be a big deal.

Yeah I run things at min settings at 10fps on the slaves and medium settings at 60fps just fine currently, only times I have issues is with a crap ton of people around. I'll probably just grab the 2GB one unless a good deal comes up in the next few days. Thank you very much for the help Mirai!

A new video card will breathe new life into your pc. I would spend all my money on the best card you can buy.
“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”
