Going to start with a mining fleet first, easiest entry.

but i can't wait for 8 stealth bombers in the future.

8 box'ed clients
2 30" monitors, 4 sessions per screen.
FPS is a bit low, but a new video card is in my future. running an ATI HD5700 right now, huge room for improvement.

Looking good. I would suggest looking into VidFX so you can do like pic related.

Also set all clients to performance instead of quality. Also in isboxer on the cpu management you can limit your fps. I personally run 40/20. 40 being my primary screen and 20fps for the alts. You will not even notice the reduced fps but will get a large performance increase.

Multiboxing bombers will be tough because of the decloaking range. I think 8 interceptors would be more fun and easier to box.

declaoking is definitely an issue, but you can always work around it. you just cloak a little slower than others. but nothing like seeing 8 bombers decloak and launch torps in sync and warp off :P

The problem with interceptors is that you can't get them to do more than about ~150 dps apiece. Stealth bombers can easily do 700 apiece.

anyone have a 3 monitor setup,
1 full screen swapping, avoid taskbar
9 windows swapping, leave hole
1 window full of "regions" from the other clients.


not sure i even have the terminology correct... want the character im focused on to be full screen, center. Screen to the left shows target, lasers, overview only for all 9 clients, and screen to the right shows all 9 clients windowed/swapping to the central screen.

I have the center and right screen setup the way i like it. Just trying to add in the dxnothing step. (brainstorming as i type it)

I tried the three monitor route but i found two to be enough for 10x with full screen stacked and 1 dxnothing.

You may try dx9 mode over the default dx11 mode to improve performance. I saw a large gain for all windows when i switched to it.

Woudl you mind putting a ss of your setup? perhaps im trying to put too much information on my dxnothing, but im having trouble trying to fit all 9 extra toons on 1 dxnothing. so ive been using 2 dxns on 2 other monitors left and right of the center stacked and using monitor 4 and 5 for scouts.
