    Default Getting to level 70

    OK here is my predicament.

I currently have a level 70 hunter, I love my Hunter and its really good fun, however, I would like to be able to bubble, heal, get Blessings when I wish and all the other nice things that paladins get.

So I created my paladin and have so far solo'd him to level 26, and now I want to level him to level 70 as fast as possible and utilize my hunter to this end as well.

I'm not really sure on the best way to do this, as far as I understand my options are as follows :-

    1) Not be grouped, have the paladin tag mobs, and the hunter take them down. Not sure how the paladin would tag mobs really.

    2) Be Grouped, get a list of quests in the most efficient order and have my hunter nuke them down with pet on aggressive. obviously there is no XP for the kill, but there is for handing the quests in quickly.

    3) Not be grouped, do quests but have the paladin tag all the mobs and the hunter take them down. (this would be the ideal situation as I would get XP for the kill, and do the quests fast. However I'm not sure how my pala could tag all the mobs and I think he would get into trouble)

Other than that I cant see any other options, does anyone have any ideas beyond this? or maybe you can suggest which of the above methods is better? I know the ideal situation would be to level at the same time, but I'm not able to do that.

    Thanks,

Your fastest option is going to be to "solo" with the Pally and use the hunter for when things get tight. Do not group up. If you do damage with the hunter or group with the pally then your exp will drop to almost nil.

I suggest Johanas guide. Played right, expect 60 in 7 - 10 days played, realistically. Multiboxers may take a bit more time.

yeah, so I guess the best option would be to have the hunter on follow and use something like key clone to map an F key so that when things get a little tight I can hit the Fkey and put my pet on aggressive etc.

I guess as my paladin gets closer to level 70 it will be able to make more use of the level 70.

I've got a similar situation. What I do is completely forget about mob XP.

Begin by 2boxing, with whatever style you like. Set your lower level guy to AF. This works quite well with a healing class like pally.

Group up the characters, set loot to FFA, and begin doing _every_ quest in a zone. I've found I can generally spit out a couple of levels per playing day, and that includes breaks to do stuff like learn skills and trade and do actual fun things in the game. You should be able to level exclusively with quests alone, without requiring more than token grinding. A new priest I'm working just hit level 30, and he hasn't killed more than 50 mobs in his life.

Of course, if it is raw levelling speed you need, then you have to grind, either multiboxed instance, or just easy to kill mobs that are still yellow.
