Default Spending more time in ISboxer than playing the game

Is it just me? I've been in this program for 2 weeks straight and my first 5 man team is only level 35. With heirlooms. Tweak, tweak, tweak. My wife is asking if I'm writing code for a bot to play for me lol.

For me, there's research of my team or teams.
That takes up a fair bit of time.
    Probably the most initial time.
And it is an ongoing process, as the team levels and the needs change.

There's the initial setup of IS Boxer.
Along with coming across a guide/how-to by Alge, Firescue17 or MiRai... that I'd like to incorporate into my setup.
Or along the way, I'd like to have something work better.
Or perhaps overcome a problem, or make something less tedious, or integrated into a key I'm already pressing.

The leveling process is easily the most fun.
Watching a team gain abilities, or overcome something they couldn't do earlier...
    That's quite fun.

    Once you reach maximum level...
It's more a grind to accumulate gear, or AA points, or whatever.
But devising/implementing tactics (or adapting your IS Boxer configuration, for increased flexibility during an event) is still fun.

    If you have RAF...
I'd seriously consider just banging out teams.
Even if things aren't optimal, having several teams done over the 3 months is important.
It makes things a lot easier down the road.
You can leave them at (whatever level RAF ends at) and play them down the road, as they become interesting or whatever.

    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

I've been doing this the entire expansion. A few times a week I make small changes. Every few months I spend a few days... 10+ hours tweaking the entire thing or rebuilding more efficient keymaps. It's part of the process. The better your setup in ISBoxer the more you can do with your team.

Some of us live for tweaking things. I spend absurd amounts of time coding new stuff in my HotKeyNet scripts. Actually, that's usually the reason I end up restarting my subscriptions. I'll lay awake in bed for hours thinking "I wish I could do this. Hmmm, maybe I can do that, if I do this and this and can find a way to do that..." until I'm completely obsessed and have no choice but spend the next few days geeking out like a freak, lol. Then I have to resub my whole team just so I can try it out and tweak it some more.

Sometimes working on my setup is way more entertaining than doing the same dungeon for the 857th time, lol.

I followed the quick start guide and was in within 30 minutes or so when I started and only have to change minor things as and when I need to. Thinking of starting the pro setup once I get my teams leveled.

I was on for 2-3 hours last night in game, did one quest. I did however manage to configure videofx for my bags and characters slots which is cool. I think I have my setup just about where I can start banging out teams (minus all the ganks). Only thing left to implement is the mashable macros.

Isboxer is a very powerful tool when you take the time to learn it for sure , I myself enjoy going back over what Joe and MiRai provide with vids and learn from them. It's like every time I watch them I see something I missed or something I could've improved.Whether it's a minor tweak or a major overhaul it's truly a blast doing this stuff back in my Daoc days I ran 4 comps to bot so this improved my game play by a ton.Now I gotta figure out which game to stick with .... WoW,Rift or Lotro :P

I always procrastinate. I don't bother majorly tweaking my setup unless something is actually preventing me from progressing. Rotations and stuff change way too quickly while levelling

Hopefully your doing the tweaking using the 'pro' system so you dont have to re-tweak for every class, slot or character change.
