    Default KeyClone Mouse question.

Here's a bit of a head scratcher. I notice with KeyClone, that if you multi-box on 1 PC, you can swap to to your Clones by hitting a few Function keys anytime you want to give direct orders to them.

Now, what if instead, I have a 2 pc set up, and I occasionaly want to control my clones from my main PC? I want to override the mouse and keyboard on the clones from PC1, while the clones run on PC2. Is that possible?

across multiple machines, you can project the keys as if the wows were on the same machine.

mouse clicks are a different story and i would recommend against using 'pass mouse clicks'

if you want to interface with the other machine via a mouse (for looting), synergy could be used.. .but it has a major bug within wow. a 2nd mouse does work fine and is probably recommended.

I might try using a hardware solution then to send my Keyboard/Mouse control to the 2nd PC on a per need basis. This way if I want to manually control the 2nd PC, I shouldn't have a problem.

Hrm, are there USB based KVM switches these days? Because that's what I got. USB Keyboard and mouse. Hrm.

a KVM is not what you want, though... because that only allows the input to go to a single machine.. leaving your main defenseless until you flip back

personally, i only need a mouse on the remote machines once in a while... otherwise, i can get everything else done using keyclone as normal

Actually that's exactly what I want. Well, it's what I think would work best. All I need it for is the occasional desire to edit macros, Loot quest objects, sell items in backpack, etc.

Stuff where I just want to swap over, do the job, then swap back. Some of that might require I use the keyboard too and the first night I used Multi-Boxed, I had to swing back and forth between the two computers and the two keyboards/mice. Which was fine but somewhat distracting.

On a similar note, is there actually any method whatsoever, be it keyclone, hardware, anything, of passing mouse movement / clicks on the same machine with two instances of wow? For example, lining up UI frames and being able to click them as long as they are perfectly lined up? Just curious!
