    Default XKeys and input buffer?

I have the X-Keys Professional (USB version), and MULTIPLE times... I've wiped, because of it. Apparently, it has some kind of buffer, so when I press keys too fast (to release totems, attack, etc.) it gets all "bogged up". This leaves the key input lagging MADLY, and taking 3-4 seconds for previous keys pressed to catch up. =S

Anybody else experiencing this... or just me? :cursing:

Thats normal. Keyboards have the same thing but youd have to type soooo fast u never notice. But im assuming that with xkyes the amount of data it sends is much larger than with keyboards so that would be causing you problems. If its plugged into a USB 2.0 port you shouldnt be getting any problems. What kind of port is it plugged into?

USB 2.0 will not fix the issue. It's not a bandwidth problem.

PS/2 does not have this limitation. Mostly.

The only time I've ever seen this type of behavior on an X-Keys USB was when delays were programmed on the keys.

Just how many keys are you hitting at the same time anyway?

Sorry for the delayed response... been away! About delays, I don't have any (as I assumed it was against the WoW ToS)... and I don't press "alot" of buttons at once. I AM, however, one of those "button spammers". Perhaps I should back off a bit. Once I cast a spell, and it starts the bar... I immediately start spamming the button of the spell/action that I want to follow-up w/. I'll hit a key about 4-5 a sec... =P Actually, I've been doin' this since I started playin' WoW about 3-3.5 years ago (a few months after it's initial release). Bad habit, and I guess what better way to fix it than w/ a stubborn X-Keys unit!

Edit: Btw, "boxing" doesn't help the matter of stoping the "button spamming" any. Occasionally, it'll take a good 2-3 spams of a button before every character in my setup starts his/her casting.
