Thanks for this post; I was wiping on Vexallus trying to target the adds with my pally; adding a /target right in their DPS macros made the fight significantly easier. This is probably a better way to go on many other fights too; I just need to remember to change the /target whenever there's a fight that requires killing something first.

The trash does hit pretty hard; you have to be on the ball with CC or grounding totems, and be careful about who you kill first. I found it was best to kill the Sunblade Mage Guards first, to avoid them using their dampening field or glaive-throw stun.
