    First, those lists are gigantic and it's unnecessary to show us things like your case fans, OS, optical drives, etc. I realize it was easy to just copy and paste it all in here, but those really have nothing to do whether your system will be able to run 5 clients efficiently or not and just clutters things up by making the lists difficult to read.

    We pretty much only need to see CPU, GPU, RAM, and PSU. Motherboard and any disks are secondary info. The rest can be thrown out.

    Second, if you've got a $4,000 budget then you should be buying nothing except for the 6-core Intel system.

    Third, why GTX 680s? The GTX 770s are just as powerful (if not more powerful), are available with 4GB of VRAM, and cost $100 less.

    Fourth, I dislike buying the components from several different sites because if you're getting a low price from one site, but paying for tax and shipping, it might not actually be cheaper than if you were to order everything from one or two sites where you're not getting charged tax and/or shipping. I don't know if you were actually going to order your stuff from all those sites, but I figured that I would say this anyway.

    @Mirai

    Sorry next time I will only post that information,new around here so I am still getting a feel of what is vs what ain't needed here .... and no I am not going to buy from all the different sites listed.I listed the stuff here just to get a feel and pointed in the right direction in purchasing the right combo of items.I really don't wanna spend the whole 4k in building a system but I will if needed to run 5 clients basically @ least high to ultra on my main screen.Thank you for pointing out the GTX 770 looking @ it right now and changing the build up.I was digging up the past and liked your old build how I noticed it ran really will with 5 clients and you was using the 2600k.

    Well, I can understand that you'd rather not blow the entire budget if you don't have to (I can agree with that), but here's some screenshots from when I first put my 4930K system together:

    In a similar scene, my OC'd 2600K was my bottleneck and was the main cause of my upgrade. Here's my post where I detail the settings I'm running.

    Some people might not consider the FPS insane (some people absolutely hate 30 FPS), but because I record at 30 FPS I don't normally multibox at a higher than that (I also don't mind it at all). Keeping my FPS locked to 30 on each client keeps everything feeling smoother across all of them (in my opinion). Of course, if I could keep them all at 60 FPS all the time using the settings I have, that'd be awesome, but isn't realistic. You will most likely be able to set your main/active client to use 60 FPS though w/o an issue, while keeping your slaves at 30, since you'll have better GPUs than me.

    It's tough to predict exactly what settings you'll be able to use and it's something you'll just have to play with. I know that my GPUs are likely going to struggle when I'm outside in Pandaria since it has the highest resolution textures that the game has seen to date. So I'm actually hoping I can upgrade my GPUs soon™; but if I can't, I may have to end up dropping my super-awesome 4xSGSSAA to a lower setting -- It's just something I have to experiment with when I get there.

    You may want to try and push 1920x1080, but I'm really liking my wide field of view at 1920x720 and my only complaint is that I wish I had just a bit more room for some of the elements in my UI, but I manage. I might, might, try to increase the resolution up to maybe 1920x810 or something, but the more resolution I give each client the more juice they're going to want from my GPUs, and as you can see, they're already sitting at ~80%.

    Just seeing 30fps on all frames makes me drool .... I am one of those I want it as smooth as I can get it for sure the current comp I have now runs 5 client but its like 25 main 12-15 on the rest , I want better and being my wife is gonna let me buy the new comp gotta take it while I can.

    I was running at 17fps at 1920x1200 while I leveled my 11 classes (5 at a time) and I found it ... ok. Now that I've got all 11 classes at 90, I'm leveling professions and multiboxing doesn't help for that so I'm running a single client and I'm back to ultra settings at 2560x1600 at 60 fps and damn it's nice.

    I'm hoping that when I get the new computer finished I'll be able to get 30fps with 5 clients. I think it would be plenty good. Especially if I could get ultra settings (WoW.)

    OBTW, when I upgraded all of my accounts to Mist, I went from 40+ fps to 17 even though I was still in Cata. It seems like you don't have to go to Mist to get the heavy load on the GPU. When you upgrade your account it downloads the newer client and slows things up.
