Outleveling through rested bonus ?

Hi there,

First of, thanks a lot for this forum. This is my first post, but i've been visiting since a few months, very helpful guides.
It've been multiboxing for some time now, with RAF, mono/multi classes, 3-5 boxes depending on my motivation.
My RAF time is up, I descided to start over with a solid group for instances only, but without the RAF XP bonus. My current team (do not remember who suggested it, but cheers to him) :

(Master) Paladin prot - heirloom XP bonus : 40%
(slave1) priest disc - heirloom XP bonus : 15%
(slave2) mage arcane - heirloom XP bonus : 15%
(slave3) warlock affli - heirloom XP bonus : 15%
(slave4) shaman elem - heirloom XP bonus : 15%
(all lvl 35-37, same guild)

I have an issue with the rested bonus on my slave characters :
My slaves outlevel my master, they seem to keep their rested bonus much longer than the master. I don't understand how this can happen. They stay rested forever, while my master does not. there was a point where all of them were 'outrested', my main went LFD alone to keep him up to level, they staid all 5 at the inn overnight, and next day, same problem : after half a level my main was not rested any more, while it took 3 levels to my toons to get rid of the rested bonus.
It looks like it would be more interesting to get rid of the heirlooms when rested oO

If anyone has any idea where this can come from, it could really need some help !

If 2 toons are linked through raf, they are gaining 3x the xp. That means that they will stay rested till your raf runs out or till you hit the raf cap. If your main is getting tired, that means he is not linked, and thus does not benefit from the increased xp.

Can you tell us how you linked your accounts?
My guess is that BCDE are linked, but A not.

DAMN ! sorry for this, i just realise the slaves are still linked. Stupid me. Guess i have to continue LFD with the main for a few more days till the RAF is over on all accounts.
(they were linked correctly : A-B-C ; D-E , but i must have created one RAF a little bit earlier than the others)

Also pandas have double rested exp, up to 3 levels saved instead of 1.5

But you already figured out your problem so my response is moot.

Herbalism and mining also provide XP, you can pick that up on your main for a little while so he gets extra xp to keep up with the slaves.

This line must be confusing as hell when someone who has no clue about wow stumbles across this post
