    Default Solving multi-ship cloaking

    Yarr!

    I'm currently scouting around in WH space looking for a juicy C3 with a HS or C4 static for Mokoi and myself to make a home in. As I've been doing this I've been pondering how to solve getting your entire fleet of 5 or 10 ships to cloak without decloaking everyone. Since you can't use the cloak at all if you're within 2k of another object, how do you get your fleet to cloak? Have them each daisy-chain keep-at-3km or what?

    I'm keenly interested in solving this problem as our current plan is to run RR Tengu fleets with the covert ops reconfiguration subsystem, for funsies

    for gate or wormhole jumps, a scout always goes first, can cloak up and burn MWD in a direction, and then warp the next 9 in sequence a few seconds apart to facilitate the burning and cloaking of all the ships. will take some extra time, but if you needed to, it could be done.

    Also, if you are in Kspace, and there are no neuts in system, no need to worry about it. you can activate cloak in warp, right? you could just hit their warp hotkeys in a round robin, and then activate cloaks on your way to desto... still slower and a LOT more micro than normal, but safe.
