X-Keys alternatives

Since I'm from Europe, X-keys would be extremely expensive to ship over. Is there any good alternatives around (preferably available in europe?)

I used to have a G15, which had the extra 12 (?) keys which I programmed for boxing, but I have a mechanical keyboard without extra buttons now, so I don't have that luxury anymore. I was thinking of adding a small pad to the left of my keyboard, or a big bad to replace wasd altogether, but I'm not sure what to choose from.

What's everyone here using as 'extra' keys and how are they liking it?
My setup is 1 pc with 5 accounts on it with ISBoxer.

G600 mouse, that gets you 12 thumb buttons, a scroll wheel which will tilt left/right, a ring finger mouse button plus the normal two mouse buttons.
You can map each of the buttons.

You could look at a Logitech G13.
Not sure on the availability, but that's more keys too.

I am also a fan of the G600. You get a lot more buttons than the 12 physical since each profile has 3 "modes" each with a "GShift." I preferred the Naga's flat buttons to the G600's wedged design but everything else about the G600 beats the pants off the Naga.

Being an avid FPS gamer as well I'd prefer not changing my mouse (zowie AM-GS) out until they release one with an equally powerful laser, but rather add extra buttons to my keyboard

If you need to stick to mechanical, then the Logitech G710+ has some programmable keys on it.

What is so powerful about that mouse's laser?

Well actually, the power is that it's not laser, it's optical. It uses the avago 3090 optical sensor, which is awesome. There's no prediction or jitter on it and it has a very low lift off distance. In not so technical terms, it's extremely accurate unlike most laser mice

edit: as for the g710+, it looks good! Only downside seems to be that it uses cherry mx brown switches, and not red ones, which I find better for gaming, but this is personal taste really.
Gonna consider getting me one of these though. Worst case I can always solder some cherry mx reds on the wasd keys

How many modifier combinations can your thumb hit? Each modifier combination gives your layout another set of bindings.

The Core Layout that Starcraft II players developed repositions your hand on the keyboard so that your thumb can better reach the modifiers. By moving your keyboard hand to a different position and, they setup the thumb to be able to do alt, control, shift, and control+shift which gives each key 4 bindings.
