    Default Cross Realm?

I'm still figuring out the cross realm trick and how it helps me as a boxer. I have 10 accounts with two battle.nets. I was wondering if there is a way to force myself into a different realm if I know they are fighting world bosses there using openraid or any other raid tracker. I tried creating a character in the realm I knew people were fighting but when I added myself to the group the lower level character always got pulled into the higher characters realm regardless of who invited who. I'm just trying to figure out how I can get all 8 of my characters into an Ordos fight each week as they don't fight him on my server. I understand you can roll for loot outside of a group in the same way you can on Celestials. Any thoughts?

From what I understand, the destination realm is chosen using the following criteria:

    • Highest level character (A level < 90 cannot bring a level 90 to their realm)
    • Larger group (1 person from realm A invites 4 other people from realm B -- Realm B is the destination realm)

I've only been told about the second one, I've never actually tried it.

That's kind of what I expected. I wonder if two people from realm A were in a group first if that would keep the group in realm A. I could just ask someone to group with me while I pulled over the team. Might work.. probably not.

    Thanks again!

this is more of less right

it goes off leader intill the group goes +- the leaders servers.

    EG:

Leader is on server A and has 3 players from server A already, invs a 5 boxer from server B = Everyone one be on server B

Leader is on server A and has 4 clones in group invs 5 boxers from server B they. = Everyone be on server A.

PvE and PVP will come into play in this as well if your on a pvp server and inv onesomeone from a pve realm you will not change to the pve realm. (unless your not buffed for pvp)

That's going to make it a bit of a challenge to get on a different server but at least I understand. Thanks for the info!

ya it used to go off the leader but to many was cheating the system so it got hotfixed a lot.

hurm, I have been in Celestial groups where I get invited, then invite my other 4 toons. I have seen it go back to my server. However, I have seen it stay on whatever server when I have my toons in, based on more people from another server in the raid group.

    I don't follow your 2nd option.

First option seems to be 4 players adding 5 players, and going to the realm with five.
Second option seems to be 5 players adding 5 players, and staying on their current realm.

    yep this is right (sorry)

only if the group size matches the same you can pick what server to play off (unless its pvp/pve)
