I've thought of picking one of those up, a few times.
    Haven't yet.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

When I played my 10x-box, I had an unusual setup I. I didn't use WASD or ESDF. Here is what I used

    Hardware:
G13, Keyboard, Multi-button Mouse (Razor, etc), and a X-Keys foot pedal.

All movement keys were mapped to the G13 thumb joystick. That freed up all my left 4-fingers for key bindings.

My right hand has was on my mouse for modifiers (ctrl, alt, shift, etc) in addition to movement and other key bindings.
I also used my number pad on my regular keyboard for some less often used keys.

Lastly, I used my foot pedal for jumping (no joke), more modifiers, and formations.

I used that, but now it just sits in a box in the closet. I still had to keep moving my hand over to the keyboard so might as well just use the G15 keyboard only since it has enough extra buttons.

I actually use esdf. It took me about a week. I made the mark on my F key more prominent and just kept mindful of keeping my pointer finger on it.
