Feel free to submit a ticket and ask them anyway. Hell, maybe their policy has changed and now people who are married can share accounts between each other as long as they're together. Either way, they're not going to ban you on the spot if you get caught (I doubt such a minor offense would even warrant a ban of any sort unless you just kept getting caught). They would most likely see the names on the accounts and realize that you're married or, at least, relatives of some sort.
That rule is only in place so that they don't have to deal with all the account drama that could possibly end up happening. It's easier for them to just say: Unless you are the legal guardian of a minor, then account sharing of any sort is not allowed, period. This way they don't have to deal with any if, ands, or buts.
I could honestly care less who plays their spouse's account, just as long as they're not on this forum spreading misinformation and telling people that it's allowed and within the TOS.
