thank you MiRai. I did not know what was truly allowed and im happy to say that there are people here that do help. I been on forums before where people really did not care about the new guy to even help.

WoW offers free trials where you can play up to level 20 for free. If you want to try it out, I suggest you start with free trial accounts in your own name on your own BNet. You should never need to share an account in order to test out multiboxing. I myself have an entire team of free accounts for trying stuff on when my real accounts are unsubscribed.

As far as to what is allowed, we have a collection of all the blue posts on multiboxing from back when stickied in the General section. Blues went to pretty extraordinary lengths to elaborate on what is and is not allowed in regards to multiboxing.

I called them because my son is on my Battle.net & we were getting each others achievements and people in our guild were getting suspicious - no way we can be in Ulduar and battlegrounds at the same time.. so I called them up and told them my son was on it and they told me that your own kids can be on my battle.net and once 18 I should move him onto his own.. but otherwise it was fine.. they put a note on my account. They don't like couples sharing incase of personal disputes.. but no idea if it's actually allowed.

A spouse is still not allowed. Here's a couple of recent blues on it -

    Vrakthris - 5/31/2013 -

    Simply put, Cavtrooper, no.

Each account may only be accessed by a single adult, registered to the account itself. The Battle.net account itself should also be in that person's name.

She needs her own as do you.

    Orlyia - 2/22/2012 -

Edited that to the important parts for you - and the answer is no. You cannot share an account with ANYONE except one minor child that you are either the parent or legal guardian of.

Not your BFF, Spouse, in-laws, out-laws or Siamese cat. :P

If it says anything other than what the Blues have said in the above posts, then it's probably wrong. GMs are not the same as Blues, they are frontline support. There are more than a few instances of people who have been banned because GMs don't understand what multiboxing is, and there are also instances of people being told that something is OK by a GM when it is not. The exact same people could get the exact opposite result from a different GM. Blue posts always trump GMs.

That's why I do not say what I was told. I was able to read the blue and the blues was about making a wife's account part of that persons account
