    Default First time boxer

I have been wanting to Box for a long time now. My Wife plays time to time. So im going to Start boxing with hers. Im a Lock and she plays a Warrior. I wanted to know whats the Best software to use. For a week now I been trying out Hotkeynet. I have many goals to do. I was thinking of the new RAF that's out, and if there is a way to have two toons follow behide a lvl90 toon out of range to power level them up. then when they are at the same level then I can box with all of them. I would like to hear back from people one whats best to try. Software Marcos and more. Let me know or give links to whats you may think will help. For once I plan on putting my wifes toon to good use. She plays about 3 hours a month or less.

Thank you for the info/Link. I been reading it, and I think it be best for me to use ISBoxer and just pay the $50/Yr thing for it. It looks to have the most info out there that I may need to do this right.

Just a fair warning: that's against the eula/tos. If you multibox, all accounts have to be in your name, if not that's a ban-able offence (one they actually do scan/check, since it's very likely some unknown will report you when he sees you out in the world thinking that you are cheating while multiboxing).

Ok I will ask. The last name is the same as the address on the account and was my name on the card for it. So I will ask and see

One other thing is. Is there a way to change the account info to match?

One other thing I was thinking is the RAF. Do I have to put it under the same account or just was the same account info like name and address and things?

If you have 2 different bnet accounts in the name of John Rambo you are fine when you multibox a toon of each account together.
If you have 2 different bnet accounts, one named John Rambo and the other one Rocky Balboa, and you group them up to multibox, then you are violating the ToS.

So put your raf accounts on the same bnet or on a new bnet with the same info as your original, and you should be fine.

As far as updating your bnet account name: that happens only in very specific situations, and most of the time they will refuse to do so, as it would be an incentive for selling accounts. A specific situation could be that someone made a bnet account with a dummy name (good internet practice in general), then buys some licences, keeps playing that account for years from the same IP and all in a sudden you need to call blizzard and the rep guy sees that 'zenga the bastard' is not a real name. In which case they will ask for info like CD keys, etc ... and you'll need to provide an ID. Long story short, your best bet is to call them and explain the situation, but you'll need a damn good reason and be able to back it up.

Right now the accounts as the same card for payment and the same home address and they even play on the same IP (Same PC) the only thing not the same is Email, and the first name. THe last name on the accounts are the same. I even have all the keys to all the CDs for the game as well. its just one of the things is if im paying for the account, I need to use it then. the main thing im going to use the account for is to pull my RAF account in Dungeons to power level the new accounts. And I want to say thank you for pointing things like this out to me for I start Zenga. Its best to know as much as I can before I jump in to it

Look, we're not the people who make the decision if it's okay to share accounts or not, Blizzard does, so you don't have to prove anything to us. zenga was just letting you know that account sharing is against Blizzard's TOS.

If I'm remembering correctly, the TOS states that the only people you're allowed to share an account with are those that you are the legal guardian of. Otherwise, if the first and last names of the account holder do not match, then it would be considered account sharing.

So, if you go around talking in trade chat or submitting tickets to Blizzard saying, "Hey, I'm multiboxing with mine and my wife's accounts...", that you might learn the hard way that it's against their rules.

Im not going around and saying that im using my wifes account. Not planning to be out there. If I have im going to ask Blizzard about it. I know Zenga was letting me know. Im grateful for the info that was given to me. I did not think any thing of it. It was some thing I over looked. So I been reading up on every thing and I was planning to send out a ticket and ask. I just did not know if that would be best. Or just do Dungeons and not be out in the town or cities. Im just trying to cover all bases and get as much fact first before I move to the next step.

Feel free to submit a ticket and ask them anyway. Hell, maybe their policy has changed and now people who are married can share accounts between each other as long as they're together. Either way, they're not going to ban you on the spot if you get caught (I doubt such a minor offense would even warrant a ban of any sort unless you just kept getting caught). They would most likely see the names on the accounts and realize that you're married or, at least, relatives of some sort.

That rule is only in place so that they don't have to deal with all the account drama that could possibly end up happening. It's easier for them to just say: Unless you are the legal guardian of a minor, then account sharing of any sort is not allowed, period. This way they don't have to deal with any if, ands, or buts.

I could honestly care less who plays their spouse's account, just as long as they're not on this forum spreading misinformation and telling people that it's allowed and within the TOS.
