EQ1 Group Exp potions half price

EQ1 is having a big potion sale and all potions are half price! The Bottle of Shared Adventure lll is only $21 instead of $45 regularly. Since I play on Test server I bought one of these and continuously copy it over to level my groups. Hey its an added 50% experience per group member!!! Or you could buy it and sell spots in your group for the experience buff. On Test I get 150kpp to 200kpp per spot, some nice plat On a regular server selling spots would get you tons of plat, way more than what a Kronos sells for. Just a heads up to EQ players

They're trying to extract money from me, for my Free-to-Play game.
How dare they!

Still, buying two or three of these, on a live server.
Using /testcopy... and having +50% experience for the whole party... forever, by re-copying prior to each playing session.

They're doing a good job in that temptation department.

So you copy the same charcter over and over? I'm new to test and would like to find out how you all maximize exp. Any other advice would be great. Wouldn't the charcters have to be within the same level range to earn the extra exp?

I have characters which I'm playing on test.
And I have characters which I'm not playing, which are essentially 'couriers' to bring stuff to me from the live servers.

I haven't actually done any test copies in a few weeks.
The economy is really cheap for the most part.
Almost anything that I want, it available for very little.

I was transferring all of my wealth from character A (after a /testcopy) to character B (for a /testcopy) then to character C (for a final /testcopy).
Then going to the test realm to transfer the platinum and items to the bags in the shared inventory.
Then clearing that out, on each account, so each had a fair bit to start with.



I'm basically just playing a set of six toons now.
But I could transfer stuff to the test realm.
Just not transfer the toons I'm leveling, as the re-transfer of those would over-write the existing toon.

Thanks for the tips, I'm enjoying test server great bunch of people there, question I have got some rank 2 spell drops i can't use. Is it common courtesy to give away said items or is it acceptable for sell in the bazaar (for a reasonable price) to avoid having to /testcopy over and over? Trying to get a consensus for the 'rules' of the server.

Everyone on test is automatically 'Gold' status.
So you should be able to use any rank spell.

I asked a few people in trade, regarding pricing items.
Basically I have a manastone on a live server, and am copying that to test... for sale.
I was told to price it high, until I had enough platinum to satisfy my needs.
And thereafter price it a bit lower, so others can enjoy it and/or test it out.

That's a decent way to go.

Who then gives away items (the tradeable stuff).
Basically, mentions in a serverwide channel that they're giving stuff away.
Anyone who meets them in Plane of Knowledge...
They say roll random, 1-100 if you want... whatever.

That's a nice thing to do too.

Ok, thank you have had 5-6 spell drops in Dragon Scale, 1 for my mage I can use the rest aren't any good to me.
