    Default 6TB Helium HDD

But these are more for low power storage than for high performance gaming.

MTBF says 2 million hours. That's pretty interesting considering the WD main site only lists 1.4 million hours for their stability/reliability enterprise drive.

    1.4 million hours = 58,333.333 days run 24/7 = 1,121.7948 YEARS of 24/7 running.
Unless I'm missing something, 1.4 and 2.0 million hours is longer than you'll own the drive.

Shouldn't that come out to about 160 years? (58333 days / 365 days in a year). In any case, more than long enough indeed.

I have 4 HGST 3T drives in my NAS. If these were out when I stocked the NAS I would have purchased them. I think everyone needs a multimedia/storage NAS for their home network.

    You're right...
My too early in the morning, pre-coffee math was off a little.
