Arrow Help me figure out my PVE combinations, and how do I heal if I have a healer in the group?

Hello, I am going to multibox and I am going to try to do dungeons.

I was thinking of leveling a team of 5 Protection Paladins at first, tanky, aoe, selfheal etc.. so I think I have figured out that part but!

I am also thinking of leveling 1 prot warrior and 3 arms and then a druid for healing.. but how do I heal?

Do I have to put the healer as my main or what? or how do I do? Do I heal targets target or?

I'd prefer the 5 paladins. You don't need a dedicated healer until you get to cataclysm dungeons.

grab yourself a keyboard expansion to get more keys (like a x-keys or a g15).
Assign a key where every paladin heals the tank, assign a key where everyone heals himself
    (/cast [target=tankname] Healingspell) (/cast [target=player] Healingspell).

Control with your tank and 'interact with target' and /follow to move your toons.
Just blast through the first instances.

Hm. I have a keyboard with macro keys.. but how do I bind them in WoW? If I press on them while in WoW they really dont do anything.

    start wow
    log in with your toon
    press 'ESC'
    click on 'macros'
    create a macro in WoW

do that on all of your toons
bind the macro in WoW on the same key

get yourself a software broadcaster like keyclone, Hotkey ...
put that key in your broadcaster tool to be sent to all WoW Sessions

    press the key

Aren't all tanks going to do crap damage because any tank not getting hit isn't getting Vengeance?

For healing, it will depend what you are using as your broadcasting program. ISBoxer has Repeater or VideoFX that most use for healing. HotKeyNet can do Mouseover regions. Otherwise, you'll probably have to use the old method of dozens of macros like Asterix is talking about.

    I wasn't talking about 5 tanks.
I was talking about not getting a dedicated healer.
I was talking about 1 Tank and 4 Ret Paladins.

5 Tanks is easier for getting used to multiboxing because the chars don't take that much damage especially in groups of adds
because often every tank got the aggro of 1-2 mobs and not one is getting all the damage so healing is quiet easy because
of a constant amount of damage incoming.

In the first instances 5 tanks are doing enough damage to get the mobs down very fast. Later you need to change the
setup because of the larger amount of health the mobs got so I'd switch to 1 tank and 4 retribution paladins and generate
holy power charges with crusader strike and using these charges to keep the tank / the group alive.

I am used to keyclone so I don't know the benefits other tools like ISB got. I prefer more macros ingame and less
configuration in external tools and (tbh) I am boxing since keyclone started therefore I am bit lazy to get used
to another tool and stay with the stuff I got and I know
