Default Update 2.4: New 4v4 Warzone Arenas of Death!

SWTOR Update 2.4: The Dread War was released on October 1st!
Along with new missions and operations, there's one new feature that may be particularly exciting for multiboxers - 4v4 Player-vs-Player Warzone Arenas of Death!

The 4v4 Warzone Arenas are now active for Ranked Team play (and also solo play). These are battle royale Last Team Standing Warzones with one goal: eliminate all players on the opposing team. It's the perfect opportunity to test your 4-man multiboxing team!

There will be two teams of 4 players each, battling it out for the best of 3 rounds. No effects carry over to the next round, even if your team survives. The class ability cooldown resets between each round, so your multiboxing team can go all out to win each round!

After a certain time limit, Sudden Death begins, in which a toxic gas cloud forms at the edges of the map and slowly starts to close in and cover the entire Arena. There's several effects on any characters caught in it, including loss of stealth, being placed in combat, and a damage-over-time effect. These can only be dispelled by leaving the toxic gas cloud. The Last Team Standing rules still apply after Sudden Death Starts.

The rewards are the same as they are for the previous Warzone Arenas. Commendations, XP, credits, and rankings will be awarded at the end of the match. However, there are increased rewards for winning and performing well!

The Group Ranked Arenas match teams based on ranking, but role parity will not be a factor. It just requires a pre-made group of four max level characters joining the queue. Also note that players will no longer be able to respec while in the queue or in the Warzone.

There are three locations of the Arenas of Death: Corellia, Tattoine, and an Orbital Station. Each Arena has a different layout, so you'll need to use different strategies for your multiboxing team to win. These are small Arenas without hazardous environmental effects, so you only need to worry about destroying the other team.

If you try out the new 4v4 Warzone Arenas with your multiboxing team, let us know how it goes!

They are pretty cool, but I haven't personally multiboxed an arena.
