    Default Hello community!

Hello there my name is Romulis2000, you can call me Rom, 2k, Rommy just don't call me late for dinner.

I've been a long time admirer of the dual-boxing world, ever since my run in with 5 shammies in a BG. I thought wow focused down by the shammy gods..and wow they all have the same name..sort of !?
I'm a single dad of a 3 year old boy whose been diagnosed with SPD. sensory processing disorder. Hes a bouncy brilliant kid, he's my world. I work nights and take care of him during the days. He goes to stay with his mom two days a week.
On those two days and on the weekends i don't have to work, when hes in bed, i try to maximize my game time on world of warcraft so that i can have some time for myself. Problem is i have two accounts and im getting really tired of putting one on follow and only using one of the accounts to do damage to get the other toon through dailies. I also Q for LFR because ones a tank and the other is a destro lock. So generally ill tank until i have good amount of threat ..then click over to my other game session and DPS. I play on a 62 inch TV screen so there is ample room to see what I'm doing on both. I just would like to get more out of what I'm doing in the short time i commit to my game time.

I told you about my personal situation so that anyone else with these sort of challenges who also make some game time can hopefully relate to me and help me along in learning this style of game play. I learn quick and would really love some understanding and patient guidance so that i may become a part of the dual boxing community.

Im new here so if this thread is the wrong place to introduce myself. then please any mod able to move it please do so.
Feel free also to introduce yourselves and let a bit of your real life flow into the community. Thank you for reading and happy gaming.

    Rom

    Welcome to the community.

If you're looking to move into the frontier of using software so that you can multibox a little more effectively, then I would suggest starting out by reading the two stickies at the top of this forum (Volume 1 & 2) so that you're able to ask any specific questions you may have about moving forward with your decision.

There are a handful of choices to choose from, but if you plan to use some of the older or outdated software solutions then you might not get immediate answers to your questions or you may have to go digging into the archives of the site through the search function because a lot of people have moved on to the more modern stuff since then.

As a moderator, I'll also ask that you not create a single mega-thread of your own with 50 different questions about 10 different subjects because it helps new multiboxers more when they're broken up (and the search function returns much better results, as well). It's no problem if you group similar questions into a single thread, but don't be afraid to create new threads in different sub-forums when you have specific questions about software or macros etc.
