Group builds (other than clerics?)

Clerics are absolutely amazing, and I am having a blast with them.

Just curious what other builds people think would work both in PvE and PvP (but mainly PvP). It also sounds like in patch 3.0 Mages are getting a tank soul, and warriors (and rogues I think) are getting proper healing souls.

Yes, all classes will be able to do everything, though with different mechanics.

Nitro is running 8 rogues (saboteurs), mostly PvP I think. A long time ago, I ran a twink team with 1 cleric tank/heal + 4 marksman rogues with pig pets in the level 30-39 bracket. That was pretty awesome. Nowadays I have 7 clerics + 3 mages. I mostly do PvE and sometimes PvP (mostly just to finish PvP quests and keep CQ bar up). The mages are either Pyromancer, Chloromancer and/or Dominators. The clerics are Justicar, Cabalist/Defiler and/or Cabalist/Druid.

I didn't like the pyromancers much until I got close to max level. Now they're pretty decent, with more mobility.

How doe she find the rogues? and at what level? I have 5 rogues, and demo are totally useless at lvl 30 or so.

Nitro is doing the 8 rogues now, mostly in CQ, but also some warfronts.

Krazy just leveled up 10 clerics to 60 today and did his first CQ with Nitro. Don't know how it turned out.

Below level 40, I'd use Marksman with the noob pig pet. The pet is still useful until level 40. Then you would probably switch to Saboteur or torrents. Maybe a useful mix could be good. It's always nice when the main is a tank for trolling purposes. Many people mistakenly thinks that killing the Main is the shit. We'll, let that man be a bad-ass tank with dedicated healers, while your DPS kills the more important enemy players and ultimately wipe them. A dedicated healer is still currently a Cleric Sentinel. Chloro, Defiler is just icing on the cake.

I ran 5 bard/rangers when I last played. Folks doing Zone events loved me as I would basically keep the entire raid healed permanently.
