    Default Stupid noob thread

I've been dual boxing the hard way, tired of it. Haven't since 08 and things have changed. Still have keyclone and jamba. But other than switching screens and right clicking npcs and looting I'm at a loss. Don't have much time left on my raf. And want to do it easier. Got naga deathstalker and orbweaver. So pretty sure I'm set on keys. I'm trying to pair up what I can so I can get every class done on darkspear. Then transfer over to my main account. Jamba isn't working with the right clicking etc. and mind glazes over when I go thru all the text tutorials. And most video ones are for other systems or very outdated.

I don't quite understand what you are asking for here. For looting you should use click to move and interact with target. If you bind interact to target on a key in wow (say G) and then make a hotkey in KeyClone (for instance alt-g) that broadcasts G to all slaved then they will loot the target if in range. Click to move makes them walk over to the target if it's out of range.

This also works for skinning, turning in quests and any other item in the world that you can select. I doesn't work on picking up stuff from the ground though. For that you have to either switch windows and do it one by one (is what I do), or make a key that sets the camera to the same view on all characters and use clickbroadcasting to loot (I never got this working in a satisfactory manner).

Not sure if this answer is of any use to you.

I'd really suggest you sit down and read the tutorials, not just because I wrote them, but because they cover all of this stuff, including links to video tutorials and other tutorials.

You shouldn't be swapping screens to loot or pick up quests. Interact with Target as Blubber said deals with starting conversations with NPCs and looting, Jamba deals with actual quest dialogues, selecting quests, turning in quests, and choosing rewards.

ok it's probably the interact wiht target stuff, sorry all the ones were mainly with isboxer etc.... so i gotta do a target focus target and interact with target for interacting with them? i'm goign to be using zygor which will auto turn in quests etc as well and wiht mos tof the pre 80 stuff not much to choose from i'll just use the choose selected reward as i'll level so fast i twont really matter. i was just right clicking for some reason thought that is how it used to work...

ok so if i was doing a double caster dps, like say a mage/shaman, after setting it all up i should (on the slave) have macros for follow, target target, and then i dont know why i can't figure this out i'm smarter than this.... prob cause i'm just used to putting abilities on the bar and spamming them with my naga not really setting up macros but i guess whatever "attack cast sequence" i should have on my main it's rotation in / target and on the slave it in /focus target ? i'm not a big macro person lol but i'd like to hook up my orbweaver as i think it'd prob help with all the macros but i doubt it HEHE it shouldn't be this difficult :P

but to make them loot the dead target the "slave" still has to target it right? so wouldn't it need a target focus target first then i could hit g and it'll interact with it (which i assume interact with dead = loot

Yes, which is how I'd guess most of us do it.

I don't want to sound like I am a promoter for ISboxer, but you sir sound like you may need it. I used keyclone way back in the day myself.

To much work tbh. its 50 bucks for a whole year I think. It takes me about 10 minutes to completely set up a new team (Creation/naming(hardest)/etc). Everything is ALWAYS the same no matter what setup i run. Fluidity is the ultimatum of boxing.

Save yourself the heartache and switch. Yeah paying for programs is stupid, but we all have bills to pay.

    Examples of everything the same:

IWT looting, attacking, accepting, auto selling -Shift 1
    All follow -Middle mouse
    1 thru = Pre setup
Shift 1 thru = I setup (Copy and paste)

Always the same, always. Program runs in background. More concentration on the game. Might be something to think about.

Also: I am a naga whore...super easy breezy with 12 buttons on the side.

Say what? So programmers are people who don't need an income to sustain them? What? Paying for programs means you get a decent piece of kit with good support, no more stupid to pay for that, then it is to pay for your groceries.

I knew I should have dumbed that down. Yeah paying for programs is stupid (per month), but we all (LAX) have bills to pay.
