Thread: Boosting Myself

Sometimes I miss the insane powerlevelling ability of the old games like AC. Other times, I'm kind of glad it isn't there!

I definitely miss the ability to PL. I'm MUCH more interested in PvP (even though WoW pvp isnt even close to DAoC pvp) than I am in leveling. Quests and grinding don't excite me at all. Instances do a little bit, but not that much. I find myself googling for "power level wow" once in awhile, but all I find are powerleveling services
I never saw a wild thing sorry for itself. A bird will fall frozen dead from a bough without ever having felt sorry for itself.

Goto a place where theres loads of quests. Write down/remmimber what to do like who to kill what to find and what to do. A lvl 70 can easily clear a place set for lvl 1-50 in like seconds.and allso use thottbot.com to find all quests for area's pick em up and do em.

And the hunter radar is just amazing during these kill fests. Its really hard to give that ability up after having it. My eye wanders over to the minimap so often when I think 'oh 4 more mobs left lets see ....'

This addon was inspired by qcomments and wowhead_quests, which both serve a similar purpose. This addon takes a different spin on the problem, and has a complete database dump, which I plan to update weekly. Using this mod is simple, if you use any default quest log mod, just open your quest log. The data will be loaded automatically, and quest details will be displayed.

Please make sure when you're installing LightHeaded that you get all three folders, LightHeaded, LightHeaded_Alliance and LightHeaded_Horde. The main addon is LightHeaded, but the other two are required in order to make the addon load the data on demand. This version adds support for TomTom. Clicking on a coordinate will add it to TomTom, with the quest name as the description.

TomTom is your personal navigation assistant in World of Warcraft. This addon is very simple, but provides a nice set of functionality. Thanks to Esamynn for Astrolabe, which does the bulk of the work in this addon. Best of all - you can click the waypoint comments in Lightheaded and make waypoints that are named for the Quest they're for!!!

    * A draggable coordinate display showing hundreth precision. This frame can be hidden or locked.
    * WorldMap display of player and cursor coordinates. These displays can be hidden.
    * The ability to set waypoints based on coordinates.

    Slash Commands:
    /tomtom
    - coord - Show/Hide the coordinate display
    - mapcoord - Show/Hide the world map coordinate display
    - lock - Lock/Unlock the coordinate display

    /way
    - reset - Removes all current waypoints
    - way <x> <y> [desc] - Adds a new waypoint at x,y with optional note desc

When you set a waypoint, a dot will appear (green) on your minimap. When it goes out of range of the minimap display, it will turn into an arrow, just like the default UI. You can mouse over these waypoints to get detailed information about that waypoint. (Distance to the waypoint, quest name, note, etc)

This is low in features at the moment, but I hope to add more as time goes on. I wanted to at least get this out so other people can use it
