    Default leveling question

Do people level 5 toons at a single time controlling all of them or level a single character to 60 and then rise and repeat for 4 other toons? Thinking of controlling 5 toons at a time but as there's so many players in rift now it will look very suspicious seeing 5 toons mounted on top of each other acting as a single entity and you will get flagged for banned?

Why would you worry that another player notices that you are multiboxing? You will never get banned for multiboxing. In any game.

Here is Trion's official stance about multiboxing, from their FAQ:

    "Q:
    What is In-Game Support’s stance on multi-boxing?
    A:
It is perfectly valid for a player to play the game on multiple accounts at the same time!
While we do not condone or tolerate unattended gameplay or botting, if a player is actively
in control of all of their characters, they are not in violation of our Code of Conduct."

Lol just a bit paranoid about people seeing me with multiple characters at the same time, so is it more efficient to level multiple characters at the same time than do each separately? i take it as a yes

I would say that takes about the same time to level up 5 characters at the same time as one character. So if you want to multibox, I'd recommend that you multibox.

Make sure you subscribe and use the Patron potion to level up 40% faster! If you get a Ascend-A-Friend, you get 5% extra on top of that at level 1-20 using the Novitiate's Phylactery trinket.

I thought I'd explain better what those Patron buffs means, because they are important

    • A Patron Ability is a buff that lasts for 2 hours, and persist even if you die.
    • Every day you get one more of each of the 5 different Patron Abilities. These are saved and add up if you don't use them every day, up to 7 max (I think).

These are the five Patron Ability buffs you get:

    • Patron's Experience: 40% more experience for two hours.
    • Patron's Favor: 40% more PvP Favor for two hours.
    • Patron's Notoriety: 40% more Notoriety for two hours.
    • Patron's Prestige: 40% more PvP Prestige for two hours (only usable from level 50-60).
    • Patron's Token: 40% more Tokens for two hours (e.g. Infinity Stones, dungeon & PvP tokens, etc)

Note that you get these Patron Abilities on all your characters! So if you have two characters per account, they all get one Patron Ability buff per day. So if you play more than two hours per day, you could create alt characters and level them up too, so you always playing a character with full Patron Ability buffs enabled at all times.

The Patron buffs are higher depending on your loyalty level as well.

It does? I don't see a difference between an old account with a lot of Loyalty and a brand new account... The tooltips are identical..?

Yes there are 80% buff potions you get with loyalty, but my mistake because they are not the same as the patron reward buffs.
