As far as mouse broadcasting goes, I use it for warps and then to drag ore to cans from my hulks.

You can do it without broadcasting mouse clicks at all. The amount of time I save doing a mass drag to cans, is probably about 20seconds, less than a strip miner cycle (mine run at about 104 seconds with my booster running).

I think my biggest recommendation for anyone who is mining on a large scale is GO TO NULL SEC. I have been playing for about 6 months now, and I started out doing asteroids in high sec. To me that was hell. The Roids pop every two seconds, and every time I saw someone warp to the belt I was nervous that I was going to get ganked. Null sec is incredibly safe.... if your willing to pay attention to local. Sure you get cloaky campers every once in a while, but to me the benefits out weigh the negatives. I have never lost a ship while mining to a gank in null sec (I did however lose one hulk and 2 retrievers to rats, however it was just me being dumb and having the wrong fit) I have lost ships mining in high-sec to suicide gankers.

Another thing I wish I had done earlier is: train mining crystals! I thought it would be too much of a hassle switching crystals constantly, but the amount of yield bonus you get is just too good to pass up.

To me the only way you can run more than 6 accounts mining in high-sec is if you are doing ice, which right now is really good. Its hard to say if it will be as good once the patch comes out.

Here is a nice article about null sec belts:

If anyone has any questions about null-sec mining feel free to send me a message on the forums, and ill try to answer as best as i can.
