Managing Assets / Jobs Etc Across Multiple Chars

Hey guys,

Work is quieting down a bit so I have been working on getting my 10 dudes setup to play... I am planning to run a couple different gangs and logistics is becoming increasingly important... who has what? where is it? How long does it take me to find it? Etc

I am wondering if you guys are doing anything special to manage this complexity or just kind of winging it? I did a search to see if i could find a tool to manage this across multiple chars but didnt find anything, thinking of maybe rolling my own if nobody has any suggestions.

I do use the EveMon assets tab to find stuff but it's a pain as it's on a per-character basis, so I end up leaving everything on my team leaders to make subsequent searches easier.
A tool that amalgamated assets and enabled a single search would be great - unless, of course, I've missed an EveMon option/feature!

Ive always used evemon for skill planning... never knew it did any asset stuff.

I generally kept my big stash of mods/stuff on one of two potential guys. The only stuff the other guys had were actual fitted ships that they flew and maybe ammo/drones for spares. Anytime I would move or start accumulating trash on the secondary toons just clean house a bit and sell/reprocess what you dont want and stick what you do want in containers are your holder toon.

I keep all my gear on 2 toons, all my money is is primarily kept on 1 main toon, so i can track financials in and out. Depending on where im basing out of and what im doing, there are 2 systems i house out of in highsec, 1 in domain and 1 in the forge area. If i need to pass gear to 1 of my other toons i make sure its the only asset or a few assets (primarily ships) that they have on them at any time. I hate opening up assets and see a list of random crap across the galaxy, my OCD Kicks in and i usually start to fire-sale anything not within my main collection.

I actually made my own corp for my box alts that I use to store and manage my stuff. it also makes passing stuff across toons way easier due to corp hanger. Its extra isk out per month, but well worth it imo.

Another great tool that is more specific about knowing who has what (ie logistics) is jEveAssests which can be found at http://eve.nikr.net/jeveasset

It can be used to filter and find specific things and which toon has it at which station, tell you if you should sell the items as is, or reprocess and sell the minerals... all kinds of neat stuff.

How much are the fees Crayon? Ive thought of doing that, I still have a corp that morganti made me CEO of a while back =D
