Heroic bosses.. kinda tough

Since returning, I've gotten my OT Raid team (SK/Templar/Warden/Troub/Illy/Wiz) up to lvl 86 and 285+ AAs. Everyone is now geared in T2 TSO Armor and the rest is TSO Instance Fabled (rings, charms, shields, etc). I finally killed Lord Marcus Thex after a few wipes (darn sunshine aoe) in Evernight Abbey. With that kill, i've now cleared every TSO instance at least once since returning. I also cleared all three instances in The Hole. That gatekeeper with the insta-kill rocks is teh suck.

So, last night I took on Protectors Realm (4x RoK Raid) - cleared it in < 30mins. So I figured, what the heck and went to the The Tomb of Thugga (Tier1 4x RoK Raid) and took down the slippery snake in one try in < 60mins. Having a tank that is immune to fear (SK) makes life so easy. Sadly, the gear drop was a downgrade. So, I moved on to The Execution Throne Room (final Tier1 4X RoK Raid) and took down Pawbuster on my first try - cleared in < 40mins. Thinking luck was on my side, I took my team to the Ward of Elements (2x TOS Raid) and managed to clear the entire zone using the strategies posted on eq2.wikia. Instead of worrying about boulders on the dragon fight, I just dps'd it down and tanked the adds. This is where two healers really count. I remember wiping multiple times on all of those raids with my guild back in the day. Now I can 6-box it. Crazy.

In WOE, the team was parsing 30k on an average fight and spiking upwards of 60k. After talking to some old friends, my goal now is to get to 90 and get my toons geared up in Ry'gorr armor with Evenerated Mythicals (sp?).

Lemme know if you have any specific questions on strategies I used.

Doing the old content is nice, but the new content also seems plentiful I went ahead and hit 95 on all of my characters and while doing the long signature quest I stopped by Veeshan's Peak, cleared all of the names except Silverwing ( didn't feel like reading the strategy just yet), it's a very profitable run. seemed like I made 200+pp in maybe 45 min of work. Give that one a shot after running at 95.

My gear is also pretty crappy and my characters are not yet parsing where I would like them. Wizard is 220k~, Necro is 180k, SK is 150k, overall it hovers at 600k total maybe higher but I see single characters able to easily pull 400-500k by themselves, they say it's gear and I'm hoping so
On this game though I love refining my cast order, lots to do.

Im still at 91.. my gawd! it takes forever questing.. How did you level post 90? I even use the plethora of exp potions i have from vet rewards.. and the exp still crawls. I'm doing withering lands questing btw. The quest gear is a huge jump over anything 90 and below. I went in Skyshrine and got my ass handed to me lol.. so i think I need some gear before trying again.

Im still at 91.. my gawd! it takes forever questing.. How did you level post 90? I even use the plethora of exp potions i have from vet rewards.. and the exp still crawls. I'm doing withering lands questing btw. The quest gear is a huge jump over anything 90 and below. I went in Skyshrine and got my ass handed to me lol.. so i think I need some gear before trying again.

I just grinded the dungeons the whole way, didn't even touch questing.
At lvl 90/91 go to the broker and buy up some new gear, it's pretty cheap and the stats should be in the 105-140 range, which is massive because the expansion prior to this you were sitting at 40-50. Also throw in adornments on the items, even if they are cheapies. Get a main stat when you can. I rolled into Skyshrine after finishing up The Hole (it's very easy and good exp) and I got stomped in SS. Went to town, got the gear off the broker and it was much smoother. Again running with a full team that is optimized for each other is probably a little more stable than 3 +3 mercs (I haven't used Mercs but make sure they are the high quality kind).
Skyshrine even at lvl 94 wasn't a cake walk and I still died quite a bit, the game progressively gets more difficult, wait till you get to the lvl 95 heroic zones

Have you tried any 2x raids with two groups of 3pc's + 3mercs in each group?

I have not tried any raids yet, have just done 5 man contested and instances zones so far.

I did the hole as well.. i got most my mid 80s to 90 there. I also only did dungon grinding all the way to 90. I went in SS when i hit 91 and got my ass handed to me, thats why i started questing. But i have done all the quests in WL now and im 93 on my SK and 92ish on my other two.

My team is geared in all 91+ gear atm.. you get a lot from questing ( better gear than you can buy per-95 ) I also hit every named in WL as often as i can.. i have some fabled items from those. SS is still kicking my ass though. I'm not going to stick around long enough to level 3 more accounts though. I will keep this trio and slowly build them the best that i can. I know I will eventually get the SS ancient mercs, they are powerful when used in SS zones, from what i hear. I will also queue some LFD solo with my tank. I do the solo SS instances a few times a day as well, with my SK and his merc healer ( i do the advanced solo one.. it gives two chests ). My other two i cant beat the hard mode solo quest.. so i do the easier ones with them. They used to be dailies, but you can reset them every 90 minutes now.
