Unholy DK, is it out?

I have always liked the Unholy spec, mostly because of the pets.. but i have never realy found a rotation / macro to use with it.

Do people even use that spec ? or is it just bad?

If you do use it , what rotation/macro do you us?
If you dont use it, why dont you?

Right now Frost > Unholy.

I was using these 2 macros. 1 to put up / spread disease, 1 to blow up people. May / May not be optimal atm.

It will cast Rune Strike if you are not holding down any modifier keys (shift, alt, crtl)

Explicitly, a [nomod] tag means "only do this is no key modifiers (ctrl, alt, or shift) are being held down." Its the opposite of a modifier key which says "only do this if this modifier (ctrl, alt or shift or a combination) are being held down."

Unholy is still a very viable pvp spec, if played well. But the skill cap is arguably a bit higher than the brainless frost spec. It's because frost is so retardedly OP and requires only some button mashing that you see it everywhere. Yet some high rated dk's on my BG still play unholy over frost. The self healing + pet stun + antimagic zone give require a different less zerg it play style.

For boxing, idk, never tried unholy x 4

Prior to the Cataclysm changes to the talents, my DK's were Unholy.
That was back when you could Rune Tap for 40% healing on all DK's every 30 seconds.

Round-Robin Anti-Magic Zone, running around with a lot of pets, most of the defensive cooldowns that Frost spec has.

Not sure how the current Unholy compares with the current Frost, as a boxing set.
Frost seems a lot easier, with the pseudo-priority system of spamming keystrokes with more buttons pressed for higher priority spells/abilities.
You could likely prioritize the Unholy system too, and come up with something similar.
Break it up into: a) I'd like to spam these, with these abilities being more important than those; and b) I want to control these ones manually, either all at once or as a round-robin.
