Boxing AH, got suspended

As long as their policies didn't change, you can camp the AH as long as you want, control as many markets as you want.
I've been in full control of my servers gem market (alliance and horde side) for several years, set the prices as low as I wanted (started this cause of stupid high gem prices and the market being controlled by some tools who thought its fun to rip others off like that).

I got reported a ton, for botting, for being a gold seller, for controlling the market, for multi-boxing, for making fun of my competition, and so on. I've talked to several GMs, all of them said its totally fine what I'm doing, they'd wish they had the time and dedication to make that kind of gold too (I had 10million at the end of cata without even trying, cause I kept the prices very very low).

Thanks alot Klesh, I feel better, alot better for a few reasons, firstly I do same thing, I camp the AH, I decide what gem prices will be, so I feel, I also play both side Horde and Ally, I enjoy it, Ive played AH for yrs as well, and never had a suspension because of camping, relisting and so on for countless hrs until the suspension I just got, which was lifted.

And it did hurt my feelings which I did explain in my ticket which I sent another after my suspension was lifted and wanted to understand why it happened.

I sent in a long ticket and semi idle in game unsure what to do, camp AH, list, post, relist, don't do it, do it, will I be suspended again, will allmy accounts be suspended etc, might sound stupid but it did run through my mind, since I never expected the suspension I got, or thought I could get one to begin with.

So my comfort game zone to me was shook up and game i love and enjoy felt uncomfortable for a while in what do to, or not do and why etc.

Amd while semi idle a GM window opened up, and I spoke to a really genuinely nice, caring GM who said he is also a multiboxer of x5 accounts in pve. lol was truely really nice to come across.

he explained of course he cannot name players and so forth but said suspension occured because I was reported as a bot and whoever actions it, mistaken me for a bot, he also explained not all GM's are educated in what a multi-boxer is, and they are doing their best about it etc.

And we chatted for a while before he had other business too attend too I guess.

Anyway I feel better and now person who I love to punish in undercutting has logged on, I guess I will do what I like to do, undercut, play mind games that come with the AH, and more so since idiot began the war with stupid under cuts thinking it would send me away too only find himself not selling anything much and for a good 100-130g+ less then he was prior :P

So all is well and life in wow continues

I love Mists, it's great, throne of thunder raid is amazing, off I go to play the game I still love after all these yrs even more so since MOP!!

Yeah we did used to shut down the 2-3 stormwind AHs at the same time for up to 7 hours a day, and that wasn't at night time... good times.

Glad to see you got it all sorted. I was worried once in a while too, so I opened random tickets just to make sure am not getting banned x5. Before I quit I never had a temp suspension at all though.

And most AH competitors sooner or later noticed I'm a rather nice guy you can get along with quite easily. Even buried the hatchet with the very reason I started camping the horde side AH.

major relief, I care about my accounts, Ive had them for yrs, especially my main account since Vanilla. I'd never do anything against blizzards rules on purpose or take a risk, in getting accounts banned etc on purpose.

Ah is fun to dominate,but I have always played Ah for months at a time, then I move deeper into raids, or achieve whoring or whatever, and then I creep back into Ah, rinse and repeat.... so when the suspension occured, it really was upsetting to me.

Never Mind, its all sorted and best part I guess in end about it was the GM was really great and another boxer and he sad he put a note on my accounts that I am a boxer.

he really was a great GM, pitty isnt more like him.
Not for obvious he sorted issue, that too of course, but the convo we had and how he understood in how suspension affected me, he said he read that in the ticket himself and was why he picked mine up and was hoping to catch me in game, which he did.

Spoke briefly about how said it is for pvp boxers with the /follow in BGS gone, he said he read about that as well on dual-boxing as well lol.

Indeed, I had a lot of nice conversation with GMs too, pretty much all of them knew about multiboxing.

The level of hate you receive for keeping the prices at reasonable levels is shocking though. I could tell you stories.......

And then when you reduce prices and keep them low and still keep doing same as your competion, undercutting, all of a sudden sookie faces come on, and your now a bot, because they want to get rid of you at any cost so they can have the AH back thinking it just belongs to them. /lol

I knock things down pretty low then buy them out on another account and sell them for higher on opposite faction.

Were you using broadcast and listing x5 at once. if you used isboxer ?

Its just all good fun, I enjoy it until after a while or semi long while I get bored and get stuck into achieves, and other areas of game, then back too AH.

Yeah GM said alot of them back in the day were boxers themselves.

Just newer GM's are ones unawares of what boxing is.

Used Keyclone to box, and nothing but some addon to check if I got undercut.

Some send their guildleaders and/or guildmates to harrass me, some spammed /trade for weeks saying I'm a bot and ppl should report me (one of them later on admitted he got a suspension cause others reported him for spamming/harrassing).
When I started, some were like "who wants to get between me and my goldcapped toon?". Made me laugh big time, had 2.8mil before I really camped the AH...
