You have the game fully downloaded right? I know when I first came back it would never finish and keep resetting so one night I just let it run while I slept.
make sure to check that sound is completely off on the additional slots. Turn off soe mote and voice chat as well.
otherwise I'm not sure but it was choppy for me until I adjusted in game settings.
