Default Was a little concerned EQ1 had a higher pop than EQ2..

So I was checking the soe.com/status where it shows server pops and by no means are any of the servers doing amazing.. which is surprising since they are very well crafted games but it blew me away that eq1 had so many servers in medium pop while eq2 was almost all low pop when I viewed it.

And then it hit me. Half the people playing are afk because you have to stand there in game to sell your stuff, way to fluff them numbers

I think EQ has an offline trader mode now. Not everyone uses it and it doesn't always work correctly. Some traders will be invisible no matter how many settings you change or log on/off. So you can't buy that super cheap defiant weapon because the damn trader can't be interacted with. /shakefist

Well, unless you know the approximate server capacity then those labels (High, Medium, Low) don't really mean much when comparing games to each other. For all we know, each EQ2 server could hold two or three times as many people as an EQ1 server. /shrug
