they are effectively lowering the bar, instead of needing level 5 to fly something you really only need level 4. This again, is affecting T1s. T2s will still effectively need level 5s.

They are also streamlining the progression path for ships inside of each race. ie: Frigate -> Destroyer -> Cruiser -> Battleship essentially.

There will be a few T2 ships you can get into without Level 5 skills, but most will require it.

My big thing to me is the streamlining of non-combat ships more effectively. It will be easier for miners, haulers, and Orca pilots to get into their respective "best" ships faster.

Also i like the capital change so i dont need BS5 to get into the next racial carrier anymore which saves me a lot of training time.

The changes are great, 8 of my 12 toons, are already setup with Frigate 4/Cruiser3/ Destroyers 5 and BC5 for the Tiericide this summer. That will save me about 30-40 days of training, and will yield me level 5 in all 4 racial destroyers and BCs already.

i had a 3 bomber squad, the problem is that bombs don't work like most people think, they require a lot of work since the momentum of the ship is most of the propulsion. also, when they explode they deal damage to everything, including other bombs.

it is still possible to set the bombers orbiting a gate cloaked at 30km, then overloading and burning all of them aiming at the gate, firing bombs and warping off to a celestial. that way its easy to sync, but you will need a small warp bubble with an edge 3km from the warp in... that's pretty close and some ships will escape, but you wont botch bombing runs due to fail timing. the blast damage is absolutely insane, enough to one shot a 120kehp battleship.

if you want to get into bombing join the bombers bar, you can learn the basics there, and also get used to all the intelligence work that goes into finding targets.

I've been using bombers solo for a long time. The system I have in place is for bombing fleets already in combat. I've also been ISboxing for a very long time in eve and I'm confident this will work just fine .

I am going to be making a video when I finally pull it off, waiting on my last bomber to finish training.

The new tutorial is way better than what it used to be I hear. Also don't play the game solo, sure ISboxers generally play solo, but the learning curve is higher then most games so you have to open up a little ;-). Just make sure you ask plenty of questions and don't get discouraged. There are people that are still playing since 2003 for a reason!

I am so lost in this game. I lost my ship in a tutorial and now I cannot figure out how to get a new one.

Dock up you will get a new free Rookie ship. You get one if you are in a pod and you have no ship in station.

I think if you go to a station and you don't have a ship it gives you a new rookie ship. If you don't mind watching videos, the Eve University ones "How to Survive EVE Online" on youtube, I found quite useful. They actually explain a lot that I wouldn't have picked up from the tutorial. It's a series of six videos walking you though the tutorials. Link to the first one (which starts with character creation, so you might want to skip forward):

I had submit a petition and the gm fixed the mission. I don't know if someone killed me in tutorial space or what. I instantly died and lost my ship and quest items. The GM reset it and now I am doing much better. I wasted a few hours with it bugged trying to figure out what to do. Thankfully the petition was answered almost instantly.

I'd be interested in joining your corp, and any other plans you have in terms of multiboxing.

Currently I'm not playing that much as I wait for my first ever boxed team to train up to where I'm aiming them to be (6 new toons, 1 old toon, 7boxing a 3 guardian 4 BS fleet to get a feel for stuff).

I've never boxed in EvE, but i've been using ISBoxer in almost every other MMO that is possible to box for YEARS.

I've also been playing off & on in EvE since the game came out. So if you need another experienced, in general, pilot for EvE to help train noobies let me know .

Currently sitting in NPC corp waiting for train times to complete, but i'd start playing actively more just to help people out learn stuff if this happened.

Additionally, I'd eagerly be willing to learn from you JayUnit on how to make good isk with multiboxing. My #1 goal right now is learning how to multibox in EvE in order to generate a sustainable income for pure-pvp almost all the time (save for when i'm getting isk to sustain said pvp).

My #1 issue with EvE over the years is finding an income for my pvp needs. Time and time again i've taken a break simply because my Alliance at the time asks too much for too little in return (isk/loss wise).

    Cheers,
